The inability of Congress to get spending under control has compelled me to act and get involved.  I do not think that the status quo and career politicians will get the job done.  It is time for Patriotic Americans to step forward, run for office and serve the best interests of this Great Country.

America, the land that I love, has moved so far away from our founding values and promise of opportunity that brought millions to our shores to find a better life.  I cannot sit by and watch the American Dream slowly drift away for the children and future generations of Americans.

At the end of World War II, America had over 50% of the world's industrial capacity. Today, there are twice as many government workers as there are people involved in manufacturing and during February 2011, the federal government spent 8 times what they received in revenue.

I find it totally unacceptable, arrogant and shameful that Congress made sure that they were to be paid during the possible shutdown and that the troops were not to be paid.   It shows a complete lack of understanding for the principle of Leadership by Example.

The Stahl for Congress Committee will focus on 3 major issues that are most important to solving the problems of the United States of America.

1. Federal Spending

2. US Economy and Jobs

3. Leadership by Example from Congress

The Liberties and Freedoms that generations of

Americans worked and fought for are being challenged

America was built on the sweat and equity of freedom

loving people from all over the world during the

last 200 and more years

However, today, this great land, America, has lost

it's way and purpose.  The slide began when a

"Land of Equal Opportunity" became a

"Land of Equal Outcome"

Federal Spending is out of control, 50% of the people

want to enjoy the protections, freedoms, liberties 

and institutions of this great land, but want someone

else to pay for those very freedoms and liberties

Our politicians do not seem to be able to solve problems,

but they sure know how to spend other peoples money

Help me restore the American Dream for future

generations one district at a time

Our forefathers would expect no less as they sacrificed

to give us the quality of life and freedoms we enjoy

today in this great land called America

Lady Liberty is watching and I am afraid she does

not like what she sees
